Aftter finishing second the last two years, Emi Trost of Cannon Falls won the Class 1A girls' cross-country individual championship Saturday at St. Olaf College in Northfield. Mary Naas of St. Paul Academy took second and Becca Wilkin of Trinity School finished in third place. Annandale won the Class 1A team championship. Lac Qui Parle Valley finished second and Perham took third place. Earlier in the day, Alexandria's Bethany Hasz won the Class 2A girls’ cross-country state title and her twin sister, Megan, took second. Wayzata won the girls’ Class 2A team title for the second consecutive year. East Ridge placed second and Lakeville South took third.
